AdSense - Keep it Simple

AdSense is an ad serving program run by Google.



AdSense is one of the most successful online advertising programs today and it is becoming the most popular way to make money on the internet. It is also one of the best sources for website income.

AdSense is like a wonderful lover, who gives you great time BUT who is incapable of giving commitment.

Revenue 
Google is the largest revenue-sharer around but they don't publicly disclose their AdSense revenue share. Web sites wanted a slice of that share.

Have you noticed substantial peaks or troughs in revenue lately? When you spot revenue trends, develop more content for your site in the areas that produce the highest Google AdSense revenue. This should result in your revenue increasing substantially. I really started paying attention to revenue and ad placement about a year ago in September, 2005 and since then my AdSense revenue is up over 1000%.

Keywords 
Always search for new keywords that can help you improve your ad relevance. The big question is; which particular keywords should you give priority? Finding and implementing high profit, low competition keywords in your ads really is the trick for making AdSense payoff big. Naturally this is equally applicable to other pay per click advertising. Keyword optimization is the process of fine-tuning a web page to raise the prominence of specific keywords, however, don't over do it, or the AdSense mediabot will recognize that your page is overloaded with keywords and other techniques and may serve PSAs, so keep it simple.

Placement 
For most webmasters AdSense placement is done in the same fashion as old banner ad placement. This is a mistake because AdSense is not banner advertising. Just like in real estate, location is the key to success with AdSense. The next step in optimizing online profits is to experiment with ad placement. The only criteria Google has for ad placement is relevant content, so AdSense puts your site on an equal footing with much bigger, "more valuable" sites. If you have a good level of traffic and your AdSense ads are not performing the problem can be narrowed to poor Ad placement. AdSense is Dead? 
A report came out recently claiming that AdSense is dead. Google AdSense is not dead - it's actually very much alive and kicking. Google AdSense is one of the most successful online advertising programs today and the real impact of the success of AdSense is yet to be seen on the net.
